Capcom assures that the DLC is almost here. They are working on two versions of the DLC, one for Games for Windows – LIVE(GFWL) and the other for Steam.

Everyone on the GFWL side should be happy to know that work has wrapped up already and Capcom will be submitting the DLC to Microsoft soon. After that, Microsoft should approve the DLC and release it to the public within two weeks. Not such a long time, so hopefully it gets here soon.

On the Steam side it is going to take a little longer. The Capcom team responsible for the DLC is currently working with Valve to “get all the backend pieces set up.” After that they’ll submit it to Microsoft .

There will also be a title update for the game as soon as the DLC is released. It will bring the patch version 1.06.

Resident Evil 6 will feature three different playable campaigns. Leon, Chris, and Jake will each have their own type of story told. Below are two newly released videos showing what to expect when you are playing Leon’s part. The atmosphere is tense and favors a slightly more classic Resident evil gameplay than the others.

Each of the videos below is about 10 minutes long, so you can expect plenty of spoilers in each. If you don’t want to know anything about the story skip watching either of them. Everyone that doesn’t mind a few spoilers should go ahead and watch and enjoy!

This new trailer for the upcoming Lost Planet 3 game gives us a better view at the game and at Jim as well. We see what he has to face to get more money so that he can head back home to his loved ones. Some of those threats are huge and some are small, but still look just as deadly.

The game looks like it will have plenty of action and feature some great levels. Lost Planet 3 is scheduled for an early 2013 release. So you’ve still got time to get the first two out-of-the-way, not that it matters much since this game is a prequel.
