Not many new games coming out this week. There are a few for the PC, a few on Nintendo’s eShop, and one for PS3 gamers. Any owners of a 3DS...

Not many new games coming out this week. There are a few for the PC, a few on Nintendo’s eShop, and one for PS3 gamers. Any owners of a 3DS can look forward to Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move. It’s the fifth game in the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series and features plenty of puzzles to keep you busy. PC gamers have Pinball FX 2 coming out this week. It has received plenty of positive reviews, so if this is your type of game give it a chance.

It’s a bit of a slow week in major gaming releases this week. But PC Gamers do have plenty to look forward to. One game you should be on the lookout for is FEZ. It has been on the console side for a while, and now PC gamers can try it out. It’s a fantastic puzzle game that will have you having plenty of fun. PlayStation 3 owners can look forward to Telltale Games’: Poker Night 2. You’ll see plenty of familiar gaming characters going at it around a poker table. Check the game out, it will give you plenty of great gameplay moments.

There is also some new content for Far Cry 3 fans this week. Blood Diamond is a standalone expansion and if you enjoyed the main entry, gives this a try. It adds plenty of achievements, and gameplay for your buck. There are still plenty of other choices this week, give the release list below a look.

Any gamers still trying to take down some zombies have Dead Island: Riptide to pick up this week. Events in the game pick up after everything that happened in Dead Island. Characters that survived the first game must once again fight to survive in a new island. If you liked playing the first game, then check one out. Star Trek fans have a game to look forward to this week. It takes place after the events of the 2009 movie reboot. You’ll explore planets, environments, and even parts of the Enterprise.

Also out this week is Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. A re-release of the original game, included is the full game, along with some new additional content. The new content is additional quests, enemies, treasures, and much more. And Assassin’s Creed III players will soon be able to download The Redemption. It’s the third of the downloadable content packs for The Tyranny of King Washington. If you’ve been enjoying the add-ons for the game be sure to get ready for this one.

DC Universe characters prepare to duke out this week with the arrival of Injustice: Gods Among Us. NetherRealm is behind the new fighter that has DC characters going head-to-head.  Included in the roster is Superman, Catwoman, Batman, The Joker, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, Black Adam, and plenty others. Players who’ve played Mortal Kombat before will have some feel for the new game. Dishonored players also have something to look forward to on Tuesday. Dishonored: The Knife of Dunwall comes out and lets you see the game in a different perspective. Gameplay look about the same as the main game, with a few differences, thanks to the different powers you’ll be using.

PC gamers can look forward to Papo & Yo. Taking place in a Brazilian favela, you play as Quico. He’s running from home because of his father, while on the run he encounters a Monster. At times the player can interact with a calm and friendly monster, but given certain events, that monster can become something to fear. And of course this week also has Call of Duty: Black Ops II – Revolution hitting Xbox LIVE. It comes with new multiplayer maps, and a zombie themed one. It hits Xbox LIVE first; expect it on other platforms at a later time.

Game releases are a bit on the slow side this week. There are a few choices for you to pick from this week. Arriving on PSN this week is Guacamelee this week. You assume the role of luchador by the name of Juan Aguacate. Players can go at it alone or play cooperatively with a partner who will be controlling Tostada. Players can use plenty of melee attacks and other moves to rescue El Presidente’s Daughter from an Evil Charro Skeleton. Halo 4 players can download the Castle Map Pack today. With it come three new maps, and nine new achievements for all you achievement junkies.

Star Wars: The Old Republic gamers can look forward to Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion. With it comes a level cap increase, a new planet, and plenty more to make your experience more enjoyable in the Star Wars universe. There are also other choices, so check out the release list below.

Defiance, an MMO shooter comes out this week. The game will take you to an Earth set in the future. Different species declared war for dominance of the planet, peace finally came and now you play as an Ark Hunter. Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons comes out on Xbox LIVE, giving you a chance to play this classic in modern times. Pretty sure there are tons of gamers out there that have been eagerly awaiting this game’s release. You play as Booker DeWitt and your one simple goal is to rescue Elizabeth. That’s easier said than done because you’ll have plenty of opponents trying to thwart your every attempt to escape.  Also out this week is Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel. If you’ve played previous games in the series you know there are plenty of awesome “bro” moments while playing.

This week brings plenty of new games to check out. Starting out on Monday, LEGO City: Undercover leads the pack. Wii U owners will take on the role of Chase McCain as he goes on the hunt for criminals in Lego City. You’ll have plenty of vehicles and unique ways of using the Wii U GamePad to help you solve crimes. Also out this week is Gears of War: Judgment. A prequel to past games, you’ll see some familiar faces, at younger ages in their lives. Events of this game take place following the events of Emergence Day.

Nintendo 3DS owners can look forward to Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. It’s a sequel to Luigi’s Mansion for the Nintendo GameCube. You’ll be using your trusty Poltergust 5000 vacuum cleaner to catch those pesky ghosts. Online multiplayer has been added, so you and your friends can take on different challenges together. PC gamers also looking for a challenge can check out Trials Evolution: Gold Edition. The game will offer up plenty of challenging levels as you ride a motorcycle and try your best to pass a bumpy, obstacle ridden road as fast as possible.

The Zerg rush back to cause mayhem and chaos this week, thanks to the release of Heart of the Swarm. PC gamers can buy the new expansion and have access to new units, new campaign missions that focus on the Zerg, and you’ll also be able to learn what Sarah Kerrigan is up to. I know plenty of gamers out there are already counting down the hours till this becomes playable. PlayStation 3 owners have the option to buy God of war: Ascension this week. Events in the game unfold a few years before the events of the first game, and take place a few months after a very traumatizing event in Kratos’ life. Gamers who’ve already played previous God of War games know that a great journey is ahead if you buy the game.

If you can’t get enough Dead Space 3, you’re in luck! The Awaken DLC arrives this week adding more time to your playtime. The events of, Awaken take place after the end of Dead Space 3, so be sure you’ve beaten the game. Out this week are also plenty of PSone Classics to choose from.

This week there are plenty of great new titles coming at us. Tomb Raider should be on your radar. Crystal Dynamics has made it a new origin story and shows Lara really battling for her life. Lara is pushed to her limits as you fight your way through plenty of deadly obstacles. Also coming out this week is SimCity. The popular city-building simulator finally returns after many years of being away. It comes back strong with a new engine, 3D graphics, and ways to interacts with your virtual city.

Nintendo 3DS owners get to play Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate this week. It’s set a few years after the events of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. It will shed some light at the fate of Gabriel’s descendants. Owners of Mass effect 3 and DmC: Devil May Cry can also look forward to some new add-ons this week.
