This new trailer for the upcoming Lost Planet 3 game gives us a better view at the game and at Jim as well. We see what he has to face to get more money so that he can head back home to his loved ones. Some of those threats are huge and some are small, but still look just as deadly.

The game looks like it will have plenty of action and feature some great levels. Lost Planet 3 is scheduled for an early 2013 release. So you’ve still got time to get the first two out-of-the-way, not that it matters much since this game is a prequel.

Ubisoft is bringing a new Assassin’s Creed game over to the portable world. Thanks to the PlayStation Vita you’ll soon be able to play as Aveline, in Assassin’s Creed Liberations. The new game is takes place in Louisiana during 1765. Your enemies will be the Spaniards trying to take over. You’ll have access to a few other tricks other assassins haven’t used before, that’s thanks to Aveline’s French and African lineage. In the trailer below you’ll also notice her using a machete, blowpipe to throw darts, and even busting out with some dueling pistols, and of course even the hidden blades.

If you’re interested in seeing Aveline in acting you should check out the trailer below. It shows off the game and some of her skills at taking down any enemies that come her way. The game will be out on October 30, 2012. The trailer for the game is below.

 

You may have also noticed that the PlayStation Vita in the Trailer was sporting a new color. That’s the new “Crystal White” PS Vita model that will become available as a bundle with this game. This new bundle will come packed with:

  • A Crystal White PS Vita Wi-Fi System
  • Assassin’s Creed Liberation
  • 4GB Memory Card

Bethesda is ready to ready to release the first DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. According to Joystiq the new DLC will become available on June 26. It will come out on the Xbox 360 for 1600 MSP first and stay there for a limited time. It will later become available on the PC and PS3.

To make sure Dawnguard runs smoothly on the Xbox 360 Bethesda will be running a beta. You can sign up for the beta now and if you’re chosen you’ll know in a week.

Nintendo Wii U’s GamePad is impressive and has the ability to really enhanced gameplay experiences but one of my main concerns has always been battery life.

A small details from Nintendo’s Japanese website revealed that the battery life of the Wii U GamePad is somewhere between 3-5 hours long depending on the usage. You can plug in a AC adapter for extended play or adjust screen brightness in settings. As for the AC adapter we are not sure if you plug the controller directly to the console or a separate outlet, we’ll keep you updated as more details break.

This week’s PlayStation Plus subscribers really get treated right. If you opted in for the premium service you get access to twelve free games. And these aren’t just demos, they’re the full games. There’s LittleBigPlanet 2, inFAMOUS 2, Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One, Just Cause 2, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, and plenty more. Getting twelve free awesome games is a huge plus and makes the subscription for PlayStation Plus worth it.

Also coming out this week is Virua Fighter 5 Final Showdown. It includes new fighters, new modes, new mechanics for the game. It’s a good game and I’m sure some of you’ve been wanting to try it. There are also  LittleBigPlanet 2 for PSN, BANG BANG RACING. Both games are fun and will entertain you. If you own the PlayStation Move then you should download the Sorcery demo. It was demonstrated with the PlayStation Move a while ago and it did quite well. It’s time to turn that Move controller into a wand.

This week’s Xbox LIVE Deal of the Week Features a nice mix of games and Add-ons. Firs up are two games. One is Boulder Dash-XL, this game will have you going underground through 20 caves. Each level will throw Fireflies, Butterflies, and Amoebas as you try searching for Diamonds. Your other Arcade game choice is SEGA Bass Fishing. It’s a nice fishing game that offers eight different locals. The game even has a nice level progression system that will help you become a pro.

If you’d rather get something other than an Arcade games you the choice of some nice Add-ons. There are five choices for you to pick from. Four of those are for Borderlands, so if you need and new DLC now is the time to get it. The other choice is the Undead Nightmare Collection for Red Dead Redemption. This stunning PES 2013 trailer focuses on total freedom of the beautiful game such as: Player ID, Productive AI, Player Re-Creation, Balance Gameplay, and PES Full Control.

Nintendo is set to release two new Mario adventures this year. The 3DS Mario game is New Super Mario Bros. 2. It’s a direct sequel to the 2006 hit New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS. In this sequel Bowser is once again up to his old tricks, which always involve kidnapping Princess Peach. But this game will ask more of Mario than to just rescue the Princess. He’ll have to be on the lookout for all the coins overflowing from every nook and cranny of the Mushroom Kingdom. The game will keep track of all the coins you collect from each level , so be on the lookout and collect as many as you can. The game is set to release in all territories sometime in August 2012. Below is the E3 Trailer.

 

The other Mario game Nintendo showed was New Super Mario Bros. U. The game will feature  Nintendo’s main Bros., Mario and Luigi, Toad, and even your Mii character. This new game will feature new ways to play, and some new power-ups to experience. The power-ups that stand out in the trailer below are the Flying Squirrel Mario and the different Yoshi. We see one type of Yoshi become a big balloon and carry the characters over and the other Yoshi blow bubbles and turn the enemies in to coins.

This game will also feature some new functionality thanks to the Wii U GamePad. When someone wants to chill back a bit they can simply use the GamePad controller and help the rest of the players. They do this by using the “Boost mode”, it allows them to create platforms in random locations to help everyone else pass dangerous parts of any level. The person using the GamePad will also be able to mess around with all the enemies in a level, making it easier for everyone to get past them.

New Super Mario Bros. U will also allow you to play it on your TV and the GamePad. As of now we can expect the game to be released sometime later this Holiday season. E3 Trailer is below, be sure to watch it.
