During the Nintendo Direct Pre E3 event Satoru Iwata showed off a video of a geeky looking person interacting with the Wii U GamePad in many different ways but lets ignore that for now. A black Wii U and Wii U GamePad was shown during the video presentation.
Could this mean that Nintendo will plan to launch two colors of the Wii U come this fall? Sort of what they did with the 3DS? Who knows but we’ll probably find out on Tuesday during Nintendo’s E3 press conference.
If the Nintendo GamePad isn’t your thing then here’s the Wii U Pro Controller for a more tradition gaming experience. One of the major changes is the right control stick is located above the four button layout.
The new Wii U controller is called the Wii U GamepPad. Iwata mentioned that they chose the name ‘GamePad’ because players from the old Nintendo days referred to the NES controller as a GamePad due to its flat surface.
