Earlier this year, Sony expressed interest in bringing Edmund McMillen’s The Binding of Isaac to the PSN.  The game has been hinted at coming to the Vita or PSN since the game was denied a release on the 3DS eShop.

The Super Meat Boy and Aether creator revealed on his Formspring account that Sony is still interested in the game:

“Sony wants Isaac – a lot,”

“We will see what happens.”

We shall see, indeed. Hopefully console players will be able to enjoy the dark twisted tale of child abuse that is The Binding of Isaac.
