Looks like pretty boy Ronaldo will get the honor of becoming the next star featured on the PES 2012 cover.  Konami thought it would be great to announce the news during this years Gamescom.  The Galactico midfielder/striker now has more to gloat about, like him being the world most expensive player and becoming the face of PES for the upcoming game.  It’s been a while since we saw this super star featured on a cover, since 2008 to be precise, guess Konami thought it was time to bring him back.

Along with this announcement  from Gamescom, Konami also informed us that the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC version will release on September 27th here in NA and Europe will get it October 14th, the PSP and PS2 versions will release November 8th here in NA and October 28th in Europe, the Wii version will be out in NA on Obtober 14th and Europe November4th.  They even said that they are working on a 3DS and iOS version and will announce a release date soon.

Does this sit well with you, or does it come as a big surprise?  However you feel about Ronaldo personally you can’t dismiss his love and skill when it comes to Soccer.

If any more news comes along about a rumored second cover star you will hear it from us.

The last game part of Summer of Arcade has arrived and it’s a good one folks.  This one has been the one many people have waited for in anticipation.  Set in the ’80s era American toy soldiers battle it out against Soviet Union toy soldiers.  Throughout the game there is tons of action and strategies unfolding from both sides as you try to stand and win against your opponent.  The game even features: local co-op, online co-op, local multiplayer, and online multiplayer.  By offering all those modes the developers covered all bases to make their customers completely satisfied.

The game is very ambitious by creating a miniature battlefield for you to battle it out on.  They are plenty of infantry, vehicles both on land and air, and different types of turret placements at your disposal.  All of those will definitely be needed to win.  You can even take control of each unit and create tons of chaos and havoc on the enemy.  We even see a unit that looks a lot like a certain film star within the game trailer, watch below and see if you know who I’m talking about.

The game will set you back 1200 Microsoft points ($15), so I suggest you get this brilliant tower defense game, yes at its core it continues being just that, with tons of added bonuses to that genre of course.  So go check it the video below and hope you enjoy the game.

After the usual onslaught of trailers and delays, Nintendo has set a release date for the latest installment in the Zelda franchise, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The game is due out on Nov. 20. Although a Wii Motion Plus is required to play the game there is no word on whether or not it will be bundled with it or not.

Nintendo’s New Zelda Game Soars Skyward on Nov. 20

Master the Sword in Link’s Newest Motion-Controlled Adventure for Wii

REDMOND, Wash.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Nintendo’s celebration of the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda™ series continues in full force with the announcement that The Legend of Zelda™: Skyward Sword will launch in North America on Nov. 20. The epic adventure, created from the ground up for the Wii™ console, sends this storied series to new heights and marks a turning point for the franchise.

The game uses the precision motion controls of the Wii Remote™ Plus (or a Wii Remote controller with a Wii MotionPlus™ accessory) and Nunchuk™ controllers to map on-screen action to the player’s movements. When a player swings the Wii Remote Plus controller, Link™ appears to swing his sword in exactly the same way.

Different enemies have different battle tactics, so players must analyze their approach and develop counterattacks that play on the enemies’ weaknesses. The game’s wide array of items also use full motion controls, letting players roll bombs, shoot arrows and guide flying objects like never before.

The game includes a massive, multilayered world that takes players from dark dungeons to a diverse overworld to cloud cities in the sky, requiring a combination of puzzle-solving and swordplay to unlock all of its secrets. Link soars through the air on the wings of a majestic bird while exploring the game’s sky area, providing players with unprecedented freedom of movement as they progress on their adventure. The quest lays the foundation for the events in The Legend of Zelda™: Ocarina of Time™, which is frequently cited as one of the greatest video games of all time.

“The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is the biggest game in the series yet,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “We’ve just scratched the surface of this massive experience, and we look forward to sharing additional details with fans as we approach the Nov. 20 launch.”

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is now available for pre-order at major retailers throughout North America. A deposit may be required for pre-orders. See individual retailers for details. For more information about the game, visit http://www.zelda.com/skywardsword/.

Remember that Wii features parental controls that let adults manage the content their children can access. For more information about this and other features, visit http://www.nintendo.com/wii.

Ever notice how since the very first trailer we have yet to see Dante’s face again? Not too mysterious really, what with all the cacophony over the uncanny resemblance to Ninja Theory lead designer Tameem Antoniades. Fans threw a fit, myself included. Maybe that’s changed. Who knows? What I do know is that this Gamescom trailer is full of juggling. Check it out.
