Hey PC users I got some bad news for you guys.  Looks like Driver: San Francisco will be getting delayed on your end.  While all the console players get their hands on the game during the first days of September, you will have to wait till September 27th.  It’s horrible news to know that all hard-core PC gamers will have to wait for this game a few weeks longer.  They didn’t say why so if you have any ideas post them below in the comment section.

To make things worse they haven’t even given a release date for the Mac version which puts those users in a worse spot.  If any news get released as to why the delay happened we will let you know.  Just in case you’re wondering if the PC or Mac will get a demo the answer is no they will not, so stop wishing and hoping for it.

Hey, everyone don’t panic if you’re having a hard time logging on PSN today!  Sony announced that today August 11th the network would go down for maintenance starting at around 8am and last up till 7pm Pacific Time.  So don’t go off on a rant thinking your information has been compromised again.  Although they will be messing with the network,  there will still be times when players will be able to log into the network and play on-line.  Even though players can still play on-line they won’t be able to use: registration, account management, and even password reset.

Sony is being very forward about this and even apologizes for the inconvenience.

New Madden & Driver Demos Hit PSN and Xbox Live This Week

This week we see the release of two wonderful demos.  Both Madden 12 and Driver: San Francisco (single-player Demo) demos are out for you to download on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.

The Madden 12 demo gives you a chance to pit the Green Bay Packers against the Chicago Bears during the 2010 NFC Championship game, which was won by the Packers.  Both of these football teams have a long-standing rivalry so if you aren’t content with the results of the actual game now is your chance to change it all. You will have five-minute quarters to hopefully defeat your opponent and proclaim victory.  You will have three different difficulties to choose from so even all you Madden veterans will get a bit of a challenge from this demo.

The Driver: San-Francisco single player demo is also out this week and will have you racing through the Streets of San Francisco as you try to stop the menacing crime lord Charles Jericho.  You will be offered three different missions from the actual game to play through that show off different gameplay.  The first mission is Team Colors, that allows you to shift from one car to the other in order to win a race.  The second is Escapist where you escape while you have a VIP in your car, and finally the third is Prove it, where you do stunts and tricks.

Both games should be enjoyable.  Download them through Xbox Live and the PlayStation Store.
