Halo: Anniversary Terminals is a new video released by 343 Industries.  Within the trailer we see different monitors for each of Halo Rings, each one different from the rest.  One of those monitors from the video is 343 Guilty Spark, If you played the games you know who I’m talking about.  The teaser gives us a bit of back story to what he has gone through and what has happened since his activation.  If you look through the trailer and dissect it, you might just find some familiar scenes that you’ll recognize from Halo: Combat Evolved.  Watch the video and pay close attention to everything that’s said and happens.

There will once again be two StarCraft 2 streams, and one stream each for Halo: Reach and Call of Duty: Black Ops. For three solid days, the streams will be brought to you by the now-legendary Streamworks satellite truck.

Please note: all times listed are in PDT.

StarCraft 2

At MLG Anaheim and all following 2011 Pro Circuit Live Competitions, we will be airing two StarCraft 2 streams, StarCraft 2 Red and StarCraft 2 Blue, showing matches from both the Main Stage and the Feature Stations.  All streamed matches will have commentary by Day[9], DJ Wheat, Husky, and Mr Bitter. JP McDaniel will be acting as emcee and conducting interviews with the players on both streams.

If you see a match listed on both the Red and Blue streams, this is because the match is being aired on both streams simultaneously, so one casting team can take a break. All matches shown simultaneously on both streams will be played on the Main Stage, and will feature commentary by one of the casting teams. The teams will never break at the same time, so there will always be at least one match being aired.

Are you and your friends ready for face down the Locus Horde like never before?  Gears of War: The Board Game will be released during august, and with its release, a whole new way to go head-to-head with the games baddies.  The game will allow you to take on the roll of four different COG soldiers and go up against everything the Locus throws against you.  It comes with very detailed plastic figures that the players will use to play the game.  It comes packed with plenty of content, allowing you to play many games, and no two of those games will be the same.

The game seems interesting and is sure to get checked out by the fans of the series.  The game is trying to be a bit too much like the video game itself, but lets face it, it won’t ever be.  It allows you to play through a map, take out enemies, get into cover, pick up ammo, and much more.  Which is all great, but your performing it with plastic replicas of the game characters.  The contents of the box are below:

  • Over 30 plastic figures
  • Over 200 cards
  • 35 Locust AI Cards
  • 17 Double-sided Map Tiles
  • Nearly 75 tokens and markers
  • 1 Mission Reference Sheet
  • 5 Attack Dice and 4 Defense Dice
  • 1 Line-of-Sight Ruler

If you are interested and want to know more, check out the five-minute video below which tells you everything.  Seriously, it tells you everything about the game!

Today Bioware released a new developer walkthrough featuring Dallas Dickinson, Director of Production for Star Wars: The Old Republic. Taking place during the events of the first game, Darksiders 2 features War’s brother, Death as he searches for the truth behind the accusations that War has brough forth the apocalypse.  Death is a much different horseman than War in morals and in fighting prowess.

Death is a more agile and frantic fighter than his stoic sibling. With the added speed comes more variation, leading to longer combo strings and more flourishes. However, while Death may be faster and is more easily able to dodge attacks he is unable to block. Have no fear though, it doesn’t disadvantage him in the slightest.
