There is a new update for that spiffy 3DS gives you access to a new trick and also offer some improvements. One of the new ability is to transfer your saved date from a physical copy of a game onto a digital version of that same game. It all sounds great, but there are drawbacks from this new feature. One of those is that you won’t be able to transfer the save data back to the retail version of the game. And an ever bigger flaw is that once you transfer the data, it will be deleted from the retail version of the game. If you still want to go through with this, you’ll need an internet connection to transfer the data.

Downloading in the background while the system is in Sleep Mode has also been improved. Giving you better performance while you download your new games and apps. If you want to know more about the new update click here, and for further details you can check out this support page.
